For the Love of Craft: Manitoba Craft Council Member Showcase and Sale

Manitoba Craft Council’s 2020 Member Exhibition and Sale of Contemporary Craft

The Manitoba Craft Council is proud to present For the Love of Craft 2020 featuring the work of 33 craft artists from across Manitoba. For the Love of Craft is being held at the Pembina Hills Art Centre in Morden, MB, running from July 3rd to August 14th, 2020.

For the Love of Craft is a celebration of craft and the community that is passionate about it. The exhibition, held annually at different venues, features work in a diversity of materials: clay, fibre, wood, glass, book-binding and mixed-media. Participants range from emerging artists to professionals and represent the diversity of experience levels, media, and approaches to craft that make the Manitoba Craft Council such a vibrant group.

The Manitoba Craft Council champions excellence in craft in Manitoba, promoting the sale and exhibition of contemporary craft both locally and nationally. Craft based work is diverse, intrinsically linked to the methods, materials and hands who make them. The MCC supports and promotes all approaches to craft-based making, be they traditional, contemporary, experimental or functional.
