Carson Hill

I have always had a strong connection with wood, trees, plants, rocks, animals and nature. Except for woodworking in high school, I am a self-taught artist. I have been carving wood and other materials and fusing things together sporadically since 1994. My focus in the past has been primarily on making jewellery and some small sculpture, but over the past three years I have been branching out into wooden kitchen utensils. I like the idea of combining beauty and utility. My passion is to take something that someone else would likely discard and turn it into something beautiful.
