This international contemporary art event, with the textile element as a main reference in creativity, research and concern in all forms of artistic expression. It takes the format of triennial due to the need of continuity of the project, that will in the future motivate artists to pursue an experimental and cutting edge approach, and maintain the audiences interest in Textile Art. CONTEXTILE 2012 intents to create dynamics between local, regional and international organizations aiming to expand the quality of its cultural program.
