The World Craft Council is calling for students to submit 8-10 minute craft documentaries on the topics of Crafts: a fight for survival, the magic of creation, and a signpost of culture. Entries may be any language, but must be subtitled in English. The three best films will be awarded a citation and a cash prize of 3000, 5000 and 10000 US dollars respectively. The contest is an innovative approach to spread awareness about craft and create an archive of craft films on traditional crafts. For more information see here.
