Combing through the MCC archives this week, I came across a file marked “Barbara Balfour.” The folder seemed a little thicker than most, and indeed, it contained a number of pictures and newspaper clippings about this well-known ceramic artist. Particularly intriguing was the
newspaper clipping below:
And below we have some images from Barbara’s studio, circa 1980s – obviously a happening place to be! Barbara continues to practice ceramics and is one of many long-time members of Winnipeg’s Stoneware Gallery. You can find out more about Barbara and her current work here.
