As Metalwerx celebrates its 15th anniversary, we are offering our fourth scholarship in recognition of Metalwerx’s founders, Karen Christians and Jennifer “jeff ” Bowie. This $500 scholarship has been made possible by community member donations. It is intended to honor a dedicated, worthy metalsmith with the opportunity to expand their skillset through a course at Metalwerx during the winter 2014 semester.
This award is open to any jeweler or metalsmith who meets the pre-requisites for a course. The recipient will be chosen based on images of their metalwork that demonstrate excellence in craftsmanship and design, as well as their responses to the written application.
