ARTIST-IN-RESIDENCE in the Planning and Land Use Division of the City of Winnipeg – Climate Change Office
Local Call-to-Artists for Expressions of Interest
The Winnipeg Arts Council invites local* artists working in visual and/or media arts to submit Expressions of Interest for an Artist-in-Residence project working with the City of Winnipeg’s Land Use and Planning Division, Climate Change Office. The selected artist will be in residence for a nine month period beginning in June 2014.
*Artists must reside in, or in close proximity to, Winnipeg.
Artists are invited to attend an on-site meeting to engage in a conversation about the residency opportunity on Wednesday, April 2 at 5 pm at the City of Winnipeg, Planning, Property and Development offices, 15 – 30 Fort Street.
Budget: $22,500 (based on $2500 artist fee per month; a further budget for the creation of plans, artworks or interventions will be established following an extensive consultation period).
Interested artists must submit a complete application package to be considered.
