The Edmonton Public Library invites emerging artists working in any two-dimensional or three dimensional medium to submit proposals to show art work in the Gallery at Milner, located on the main floor of the downtown Stanley A. Milner Library.
Submission Requirements:
- An artist’s statement of the intent of the show, including title for the show
- The artist’s curriculum vitae
- A cd or flash drive of electronic images of art work for the proposed show
- Electronic images in jpg, bmp or png web-capable format
- Images of 12-14 works, with the size, date, title and medium indicated
- A stamped, self-addressed envelope must be included for return of material.
- To promote the exhibit, the Library prefers to use the images and information submitted by the exhibitor. We require the artist’s permission to do so.
- Works will be chosen for quality, originality, and consistency of form and style and must be suitable for a public space serving people of all ages.
