The Craft Ontario Gallery welcomes exhibition proposals on an ongoing basis from curators, craft professionals and collectives. Our exhibition programming recognizes that craft plays a crucial role in our daily lives and in contemporary society. As a key voice, we aim to incite dialogue locally, which contributes to a global critical discourse.
We present both group and solo exhibitions that demonstrate excellence, provide a strong curatorial approach, engage with contemporary issues, and address diverse audiences.
Proposals are reviewed twice per year by the Craft Ontario Exhibition Committee following the April 1st and October 1st submission deadlines. Applicants will be notified of the Committee decision within one month of the respective submission deadline. Please note that scheduling takes place up to two years in advance. For instance, if proposals are submitted in 2014, exhibitions would be accepted to take place in 2016.
