CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
1. Open to all Canadian Artists. Maximum three artworks per artist. All artworks must
have been completed within the last two years. Artworks must be ready to install and
available to ship within Canada. Artist is responsible for shipping to Gallery @ 501.
Artworks must be original artworks created by submitting artist.
2. All artworks must include name of artist and title of artwork on a label located on the
artwork(s). All submissions must include artist name, title, media, insurance value, date
and a brief description (one – two sentences for reference) for each artwork.
3. Size restrictions: Two dimensional works maximum of 48 x 48”. Three dimensional
works maximum of 24 x 24 x 24” and maximum of 50lbs.
DETAILS
1. Prizes: Artworks will be voted on by gallery visitors for prize categories: People’s
Choice, First $750.00, People’s Choice, Second $500.00, People’s Choice, Third
$250.00.
2. Shipping & insurance: Artist is responsible for shipping and insurance. Artworks are to
be delivered/shipped to:
Strathcona County Art Gallery @ 501,
501 Festival Avenue, Sherwood Park, AB, T8A 4X3,
(780) 410 -8585. Gallery @ 501 will pay for return shipping.
3. Artworks must be delivered to Gallery @ 501 by Friday June 23rd by 6:00 pm.
4. Return Shipping Labels must be included in packaging.
