2015 Call for submissions for 2016 Exhibition:

Due to popular demand….We are bringing it back! The ever so popular “99 Pieces of Art on the Wall”…read carefully: this time its a different submission process than before….
Only 99 pieces will be accepted into this exhibition. It will be juried by members. Depending on the number of applicants there will be a fee per piece with a maximum of 2 pieces per artist. Please see details below
To participate you must be: A current member at the time of submission and a member at the time of the exhibition in January 2016. Each participant must produce two new works, never shown before at cre8ery before.
- All wall artworks must be no larger than 20” x 20” including frame. Sculptures will be accepted provided they are smaller than 24” (h) x (w) x (d).
- All artworks must be hang ready with a wire on the back.
- All artworks must be for sale and be valued at $199 or less. 25% will be retained by the gallery to cover gallery fees.
- Please submit a list of the works: title, medium, date, value & dimensions.
- For the Jury process artists must submit .jpeg files of artworks by July 17.
- Title, medium, date, value & dimensions.
- Jpeg files must be named with the title of the piece.
- Send a bio, 1/2 a page
- Send a statement, 1/2 a page
- Send a CV, no more than 2 pages. *Please note they will go into a binder for display and will not be mounted on foamcore. Please send final documents only.
- Once your artwork is accepted into the exhibition a contract with further details will be given to the artist to sign. Absolutely no changes to information submitted will be allowed so please make sure you submit the correct information at the time of application.
- At the time of signing contract the fee will be $10 per piece for a maximum of $20. There is no fee to submit however you must be a member of the gallery as of July 17, 2015.
- As each piece is sold it will be removed from the wall and given to the buyer just like the song this is 99 pieces of art on the wall.
- You will receive invites and posters from the gallery, you will be responsible for inviting people to the exhibition. Cre8ery will market the show as usual….
Exhibition will be held Jan., 8 to Jan. 19, 6pm (2016). Artwork will be dropped off before Dec. 19, dates and times TBA.
