Canadian and International artists and artisans are invited to submit entries of their recent work for exhibition during our 2016 season, in the galleries of the Wasagaming Community Arts Centre, Wasagaming, Manitoba. Submissions may be made for various media, for example, painting, drawing, printmaking, pottery, fibre arts, jewellery, etc. We expect “recent” work to have been completed within the past three years.
The Wasagaming Community Arts Centre is situated in Riding Mountain National Park of Canada. Visitors to our two galleries are from throughout Canada, the United States, many countries around the world, and exceed 4,000 in the period of June through early September. We showcase the work of Manitoba, other Canadian, and artists and artisans from other countries, to an international audience, and have been doing so for more than 40 years.
Submissions to the jury may be made for individual and group exhibitions.
Please note that references to only a web site do not constitute a submission for the jury.
THE SUBMISSIONS PACKAGE MUST INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
- Images representative of the works to be shown, sent by regular mail (CD-ROM, jump drive, etc.), or e-mail. Documents and images should be in standard, commonly used formats
- A listing of works, including titles, medium used, sizes, and dates
