NSCAD University invites applications for 2 Assistant Professors, Textiles.
Subject to budgetary and final approval, an initial three-year appointment, renewable for continuing appointment.

NSCAD is offering two tenure-track positions in Textiles/Fashion. This department has a uniquely conceived triadic program embracing structure, surface, and form.
Preference will be given to structure (weaving: basic and complex structure, off-loom/ sculptural processes) and surface (dye/print: resist/print processes, natural/ synthetic dyes). Skills in digital textiles, production craft, mordant printing, sustainable textile practices or textiles history an asset.
Applications: Required: a minimum MFA in Textiles, active research and/or professional practice, relevant teaching experience. Applications must include a cv, teaching philosophy, research interests, a portfolio in digital format of up to 20 jpg images of applicant’s professional work and up to 15 jpg images of students’ work, and names/contact information of three referees. NSCAD will seek permission from the applicant before contacting referees.
