Community Public Art Programs
ATTENTION WINNIPEG ARTISTS of all disciplines!
The Winnipeg Arts Council & Winnipeg’s Public Art Program invite applications from Winnipeg musicians, playwrights, choreographers, composers, writers, filmmakers, and visual and interdisciplinary artists for the community-based WITH ART & Youth WITH ART programs.
WITH ART & Youth WITH ART match artists with community groups to collaborate on projects based on community goals. Exploration and the art-making process are central to the program. Artists working in all forms such as visual, media, performing and literary arts are invited to apply.

INFO SESSIONS:
Have you considered applying but don’t know enough about it? We are hosting meet ‘n greets in November to learn more about this community program. Artists from a variety of disciplines including music, photography, video, theatre, poetry and painting who have worked on WITH ART projects will be there, with WAC staff, to answer questions.
There are two info sessions to choose from:
Thursday, November 19, 7pm hosted by the Manitoba Writers’ Guild at the Burns Creative Classroom, 2nd floor of the Artspace Building (218-100 Arthur Street)
Thursday, November 26, 5pm hosted by Urban Shaman, 203-290 McDermot Avenue
