SPRING ARTISANS MARKET

The Spring Artisans Market is back! The 11th Annual Spring Artisans Market will be held on Wednesday, April 20, 2016, hosted at the Manitoba Hydro Place.

Date: Wednesday, April 20, 2016, 9am – 3pm
Set up will be on Wednesday April 20, 2016, 7am – 9am
Location: Manitoba Hydro Place, 360 Portage Avenue
Sales Items
The Artisans Market is a sale of unique, non-mass produced, hand made items. Artisans residing in Manitoba will be given first consideration. A wide range of media is desirable. All items considered for sale will be subject to a jury process.
There are no low or high price limits to sale items. We will not consider the following for sale in the Artisans Market:

Food or Candy Cosmetics or Scented Materials Commercially Made Items Weapons or Drug Paraphernalia
Entry Fees
$60.00 / table All vendors will be responsible for submitting applicable sales taxes.
Sales Space
Space is limited in the facility – each participant will have one table and a limited amount of space beside the table. Details regarding space layout will be made following the selection process. Please include details about your display requirements on the Entry Form. All vendors must maintain and staff their booths for the full hours of the sale. Failure to do so may result in non-inclusion in the Artisans Market in future years.
Publicity
The event will be publicized by the sponsor and the host, but participants may advertise to their customers and in their communities as they see fit.
Security
While every effort will be made to ensure adequate security, neither the Manitoba Crafts Museum and Library nor Manitoba Hydro are responsible for lost or stolen items. All vendors are responsible for their own insurance.
Submission and Notification Dates
All submissions must be received by 4:00pm on January 20, 2016. All applicants will be notified of the selection results by February 29, 2016
