JEWELLERY IMAGES: TEXTURES & COLOURS PUBLICATION

Makers of all levels are invited to submit images of work to be included in a book on Textures & Colours in jewellery. Nina Gilbey & Rebecca Ora Cheeseman have been commissioned by the Crowood Press to produce the book, due to be published in 2017. Techniques include: hammering, gilding & plating, rolling mill, kuem boo, stamping, oxidizing, engraving, patination, etching, enamelling – hot, cold & torch fired, reticulation, resin, granulation, wood, glass, casting – lost wax, sand & cuttlefish, finishes, anodized aluminum, inlay, gemstone settings. Pieces can utilize just one technique or a combination. All images must be 300dpi, maximum 10 images. Plain background, preferably white. Provide a brief description of materials & techniques used.
