MCC member Ann Tyre has been working with a 55+ Active Living group this past year, and, recently, was asked about art and craft instructors by the Manitoba Association of Seniors Centres.
These are young seniors – very active and engaged. Their Centres are in various parts of the city.
In response, Ann is forming a directory of artists and craftspeople who would be interested in giving workshops/classes in their particular field.
If interested, artists should describe what they would like to demonstrate/teach, listing the materials and tools needed/ provided. How long the classes would be either a couple of hours, or spread over a number of weeks. What they would charge and a couple of contact addresses.
The workshops/classes would be held in the various centres.
