The 2017 Summer Residency is open to all students, alumni, graduating students and emerging artists from any institution. This year’s program is a three-month residency providing an opportunity for artists to access some of ACAD’s studio resources and engage in peer collaboration for the summer of 2017.
The focus of this residency program is to provide artists, of various disciplines, space and time to engage in independent/self-directed study. Applicants to the program, are expected to provide a comprehensive proposal of their intentions, samples from their portfolio and a current CV.
To assist in the development of creative work, five applicants will be selected to have their facility fee waived and receive a $300 honorarium. All honorariums are awarded based on the merit of application, work and statement of intent.
