Every year First Friday’s in the exchange a couple small a fundraisers to raise much needed funds to support programming and services.
On Thursday, April 27, 2017, First Friday’s in the Exchange will host Appetite for Art. An evening that will bring art lovers, collectors, and artists together for an exciting evening of local art, music, food, fundraising and a feature artist talk with Deb Danelley. The night will also feature a silent art auction, which will showcase the emerging and established talent we have in our city – The proceeds from auctioned items will be divided 50/50 with the artist. Funds raised during this event will sustain our services dedicated to bringing together artists, artist run centers, galleries, businesses & the public for a greater understanding, appreciation & promotion of the arts & the further development of a vital Exchange Area community. As well as a few exciting projects we have up our sleeve for this year and next!
We invite artists to show their community spirit by letting First Friday’s in the Exchange auction off an original artwork splitting the proceeds 50/50
We gratefully accept submissions of two and three-dimensional artwork of any size. We endeavor to give our guests a variety of sizes and styles of artworks and will curate a selection accordingly and based on available display space at our event.
