all for submissions: 99 Pieces of Art on the Wall: 2018 exhibition!
DEADLINE: Saturday, May 6, 2017, 12noon.
Only 99 pieces will be accepted into this exhibition.
To participate you must be:
- Comply with the submission guidelines below.
- These must be new works not in a previous show at cre8ery.
- A current member at the time of submission and the time of the exhibition in Jan. 2018.
- Submit 2 or 4 artworks, 20” x 20” or smaller, including frame. Free standing sculpture must be be smaller than 24” (h) x (w) x (d).
- Submit a complete price list of the works: title, medium, date, value & dimensions. Prices must be $199 or less (to the full dollar please no .99)
- Submit a professional jpeg files of each artwork, named with the title of the piece.
- Send a bio, 1/2 a page or less
- Send a statement, 1/2 a page or less
- Send a CV, no more than 2 pages.
Additional Notes on Process:
If we receive more than 99 pieces, a jury will be set to select the works after the deadline, a contract with further details will be given to the artist to sign.
Please submit the correct information at the time of application, no changes will be accepted.
The fee for the show is $20 for 2/4 pieces. Submit 4!
As each piece is sold it will be removed from the wall and given to the buyer just like the song 99 bottles of beer on the wall.
You will receive invites from the gallery, you will be responsible for inviting people to the exhibition. Cre8ery will market the show as usual….
Exhibition will be held on First Friday, Jan., 5 (7-10pm) to Jan. 16, 3pm (2018). Artwork will be dropped off Dec 15, 12-6pm, Dec 16, 12-5pm or Dec 20, 12-6pm.
