The School of Craft + Emerging Media at the Alberta College of Art and Design invites applications for a permanent faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor in Jewellery + Metals.
Applicants should be able to speak to a diversity of approaches to jewellery and metals including those intersecting with contemporary art, function, craft, and design. Candidates with a strong practice in Metalsmithing are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will design and deliver contemporary curriculum at all levels of the BFA and MFA Jewellery + Metals program; maintain an active professional/research/studio practice and support the institution through committee work and academic governance; and continually demonstrate a commitment to pedagogical and academic excellence.
