Learn to create your very own pair of beautiful hand crafted traditional moccasins in this fun and inspiring three-day workshop. This workshop includes all materials required to complete your own pair of personalized moccasins. You will learn custom pattern making, how to work with hides, two-needle beading, sewing, puckering, and shaping techniques. You will also learn where to shop for supplies for future projects and have access to floral beading patterns.

Cynthia Boehm is Cree with Scottish ancestry, born and raised in Norway House, Manitoba, and now living in St. Andrews. Since childhood, she has always been interested in art and enjoyed painting and drawing. She learned to bead and design traditional moccasins and fell in love with the art form. Cynthia showcases and sells her designs with various programs and art/craft markets in Manitoba and the USA and teaches beadworks and traditional wears. She continues to work with the Elders, her most valued teachings, to ensure her work remains traditional.
