The Canada Council’s Frankfurt 2020: Canada Guest of Honour Special Initiative for Candian Artists will support the participation of Canadian artists, collectives, performing arts companies and visual arts exhibitions for presentation activities through tour engagements, invitations from German hosts, presenters or festivals, and other events in Germany.

Eligible activities: from October 16, 2019, to October 18, 2020.
Deadline to apply: Any time before the start of your activity until June 3, 2020.
Please note that German cultural organizations can apply for funding from our Frankfurt 2020: Canada Guest of Honour Special Initiative for German Cultural Organizations, and can submit proposals for projects that would provide a wider platform focusing on Canada and its artists.
These initiatives are realized in collaboration with Global Affairs Canada and the Embassy of Canada in Germany, and complement the efforts of partners including the Department of Canadian Heritage and Canada FBM2020 which is responsible for the literary programming.
