We invite you to the forthcoming MCC Spring Craft Auction
The Manitoba Craft Council is gearing up for our Annual Spring Fundraiser. This year, CRAFT and CRAFTSPEOPLE will be firmly in the spotlight;a silent auction of fine, contemporary craft will take centre stage. Set in the beautiful Shirley Richardson Craft Gallery in the C2 Centre for Craft, each donated artwork will be professionally installed and accompanied by a text panel describing the artist and their work. A printed catalogue of all auction items will also be produced and available. Carrying on the tradition of modelling our spring event around traditional wedding anniversary gifts, Flowers and Fruit is this year’s theme.
The afternoon will include the silent craft auction, music, food, drinks, and more, bringing together hip professionals and creatives from Winnipeg’s business, media, and arts communities. The event illustrates the vitality of craft in Manitoba, highlights MCC supporters, and celebrates artistic talent and passion within our community.

Through this fundraiser we raise crucial funds to sustain the scope and ambition of our programs that connect makers to local and international audiences and communities through exhibitions, educational lectures, publications, and outreach.
