Application documents for the 2020-21 Individual Youth Mentorship Program are now available for advance preparation.
Youth and young adults ages 19-29, residing in Winnipeg or within 50 km, can be mentored in any artistic discipline–creative, administrative, or technical. Within the chosen artistic area, the program’s aim is multi-layered including: Structured one-on-one mentorship from a recognized mentor; networking opportunities within the industry; volunteer work experience; and professional development opportunities.The program runs over 7 months, from late September through April.
Youth may apply on their own or with an experienced mentor partner. Mentors receive an honourarium- the program is free for selected youth mentees. The application window will be open August 5-26, 2020 although all materials required to prepare the application are currently available.
