Doilies, quilts, table cloths and place mats, bed linens and more. So many of us have these types of items in our homes and both the Seven Oaks House Museum and the Manitoba Crafts Museum and Library have them too. We will showcase a few of the best from both collections.
This week our Curators are joined by Amanda Harding, a conservator with expertise in paper and textiles who will lead a live demo on washing textiles and storing flat items on rolls to helps you with your own “safe at home museum.”
