Looking for something to do this spring break? Complete the Manitoba Crafts Museum and Library’s virtual scavenger hunt between March 29 and April 4 and be entered for a chance to win a crafty prize pack! This scavenger hunt has a bit of everything from finding crafting materials in your neighbourhood, to searching for the answers to craft-related questions, to making a craft yourself.
MCML Spring Break Virtual Scavenger Hunt List
- Find a handcrafted item in your home and take a picture of it.
- Go on a walk in your neighbourhood, find a natural material that is used in making craft, and take a picture of it.
- Watch the Handmade in Manitoba | Virtual Exhibition Tour on MCML’s YouTube channel and answer this question: How did rural Manitoba students get to school in 1946?
- Watch the Toys & Games | Uncovering the Collection video on MCML’s YouTube channel and answer this question: Where in Manitoba was the Snorri doll made?
- Make an origami object and take a picture of it.
Submission Process
- Complete all tasks on your scavenger hunt card.
- Submit your photos and question answers by emailing them to [email protected]. To be entered in the prize draw all photos and answers must be submitted by April 4, 2021.
- A winner will be randomly selected on April 7, 2021.
