Participants will create a botanical print using natural dye material, including dried petals, leaves, bark, sees, roots and/or insects. They will work on a 60cm x 60cm piece of organic cotton, which has been scoured and then pre-treated with tannins and mordants.
What You’ll Learn:
- Techniques for using natural dye material to create botanical prints on fabric.
- What to grow at home to use for natural dyeing.
Workshop Goals:
Participants leave with a finished piece, usable as a bandana, scarf or gift wrap square.
