GAAC is thrilled to announce the call for entry for our highly anticipated spring 2024 Members’ Exhibition, themed “Igniting Embers.” Building upon the success of our previous exhibition, we invite our members to delve into the captivating possibilities inspired by this year’s theme.
How do the words “Igniting Embers” resonate with you? As artists working with glass, we recognize the unique ability of this extraordinary material to serve as an extension of ourselves. Whether it be a reflection of our inner fire or a response to the ever-evolving world, glass allows us to transfigure our ideas creatively and innovatively.
What creative sparks can you kindle? How can you capture the essence of ignition, be it literal or metaphorical, in your art? Unleash your imagination, experiment with techniques, and let your creativity burn brightly as you interpret and breathe life into the theme.
GAAC’s 2024 Members’ Exhibition will showcase Canadian glass of all forms. The work can be functional, sculptural, contemplative, or all the above.
