CraftED: Quilting Variations on a Three Patch with Cathie Ugrin

Workshop Description:

Putting a new spin on an old classic; creating a contemporary fibre piece with a traditional foundation; trying new techniques within a familiar framework – welcome to Variations on a Three Patch! This two-day class will focus on squares, circles, more circles and all kinds of interesting techniques to create pieces that are unique and utterly amazing. The finished 16” x 38” class piece can be hung as wall art, placed on the table as a runner or used as inspiration for your studio. Each participant will receive kits filled with the materials needed for the Day 1 and Day 2 classes, as well as a variety of products and tools to play with. Descriptions/ demos will be given throughout both days, and full class notes will be provided. Discover how to take the three-patch sampler from workable to WOW! and fill your technique toolbox at the same time.

Experience sewing with a machine is required for this workshop.
