The MCC is excited to announce our next exhibition: the birds sing so sweetly- they don’t know there’s a war going on by artist Barb Hunt, opening September 6th!
In her latest exhibition, The birds sing…, artist Barb Hunt continues a decades-long investigation into the impacts of armed conflict. Here, combat fatigues worn by soldiers from many nations serve as muse, collaborator, and human proxy, their varied camouflage patterns hiding and revealing complex ideas, beliefs, and resonances related to war.
