Craft + Craft Beer: Patch making with Louis Stevens at Sookram’s Brewing Co
October 1st, 2024 from 7-10 pm at 479-B Warsaw Ave
Workshop Description:
Join the Manitoba Craft Council and Sookram’s Brewing Co for Craft + Craft Beer!
Come make patches together! Pre cut linen will be supplied to piece together and then embroider. The workshop will begin with an intro to basic stitches and the piecing of your quilt block. Creative freedom and following your own stitching intuition will be encouraged when we reach the embroidery portion. By the end of the workshop we will all have our own unique patches to take home for any future mending or clothing decorating!
All attendees will receive a complimentary flight of beer from Sookram’s. Select four 5oz pours of your favorite beers or try a variety of new ones.
Sookram’s experienced staff will be available to give tours of the brewery and answer questions about making small batch specialty craft beers. Sookrams’ full beer selection will be available for purchase during Craft + Craft beer in addition to the complimentary flight of beer.
