The Maker-in-Residence (MiR) program connects library visitors with Winnipeg-based professional makers who are passionate about their craft and skills in visual/creative arts, technology, and/or digital media. These makers enjoy teaching and mentoring – and igniting and supporting creativity in others.
The MiR works out of Millennium Library’s ideaMILL with public drop-in open studio time. In addition, scheduled workshops are held in the ideaMILL and library branches.
