Puppet
This is a puppet from 1970 crafted by Valerie Olsen. The puppet’s face is moulded from papier maché; the grey-white hair is acrylic and fashioned in a bun, which is covered by a multi-coloured scarf; and the eyes are glass. Using leather for her gloves, a cotton blouse, and black wool for the jacket and skirt, this puppet demonstrates skill with multiple media. It works as a puppet too!
