“Saving sad old Cashmere sweaters & making them happy & new again!”Sarah of SSM Design uses fabric as her medium for creating art in fashion where she believes in sustainability and is proud to be an upcycler.She works away in her lil studio just outside of Winnipeg that is uniquely situated on a farm which provides much inspiration. Sarah takes old vintage Cashmere sweaters that are destined for landfills and gives them a new life. She takes them apart, fixes any damages, cuts them up, adds new fabrics and hand dyes them to give them a new BADASS Modern edge
