Scarf – Manitoba Tartan
This tartan is registered by the guardian of Scottish heraldry and was accepted as an official provincial symbol. The blue lines represent Lord Selkirk’s Hamilton blood; the dark red squares, the Red River settlement; the green squares, the natural resources; the yellow lines, the grains; and the green lines, the people of different cultures.
