Shirt – Czech
This is an example of a traditional national Czechoslovakian shirt style from around 1930. Originally, this was likely a wedding blouse. Gladys Chown wore it from the late 1930s to the early 1940s (though not for her wedding). There is very fine yellow needle lace around the neck and as a facing in the sleeves. The blouse is highlighted with unique colourful beading embellishing sleeve helms, the shoulders and neck.
