Wendy Lee

  • Fibre

Biography: Born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, Wendy had an interesting, multicultural and cosmopolitan place to grow up.  Her exposure to different arts, cultures, and foods fueled her sense of travel and adventure, which took her across the world.  She also lived over a decade in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, also Taos, New Mexico and now Winnipeg, Manitoba. She creates artwork  that depicts her many experiences.  Wendy designs and individually hand paints her creations on silk. The brilliant liquid colours with its movement and fluidity of the silk creates an art form of wearable art as well as framed artwork.
