The Calligraphers’ Guild of Manitoba has a passion for learning and practising calligraphy – the art of beautiful writing – as well as related book arts. They welcome all skill levels.
The MB Blacksmith Guild promotes forged metal as both a functional craft and a powerful medium for creative expression. They offer workshops, demonstrations, and events to support makers at all levels.
The MB Fibre Festival is a weekend-long event held every September that brings together producers and craftspeople to support and grow the local fibre arts industry and community.
The MB Weavers and Fibre Artists offer teaching, mentorship, idea- sharing, local connections, and the promotion of weaving. Their members work in a variety of textile arts including knitting, spinning, felting, dyeing and more.
Prairie Canada Carvers’ Association promotes the art of woodcarving. They host an annual competition and provide classes and workshops on a variety of woodcarving related topics.
The Stoneware Gallery is a collective featuring some of Manitoba’s best professional potters. Members offer workshops for all skill levels through the Stoneware Studio.
Textile and Fibre Artists of MB is a network dedicated to promoting and connecting textile and fibre artists at the local and national level. They offer exhibition and sale opportunities as well as workshops and educational programs.
The Woodturners Association of Manitoba offers workshops and public demonstrations as well as montly meetings where members can share projects and ideas, learn new skills, and enjoy camaraderie —–through the craft they love.
