Katrina Craig is a textiles artist and art administrator currently residing in Winnipeg, MB. She holds a BFA in Textiles and Fashion from NSCAD University. Craig is passionate about how craft can create community through labour, living history, personal expression, and education.
Craig’s creative work explores inner lives, identity, and vulnerable experiences and how they connect to labour, memory, and time. Her work looks at the connections between cathexis and catharsis, often transforming sentimental objects into alternative materials to be used with traditional textile processes.
