Michael works primarily with stoneware and porcelain clay bodies. Most of his pieces are fired in a wood kiln or a salt / wood kiln.Recently, Michael has begun to incorporate forged iron into his work. The iron can be found in the form of handles for teapots or as stands for ceramic drums.
