Growing up on a dairy farm near La Broquerie, Manitoba, I lived everyday with nature and saw the local, beautiful scenery which inspired me. I’ve been doing art since I was a teenager, exploring every medium from Black and White photography, screen printing, wood carving and woodworking. Later, I studied Design in Toronto and recently worked as a museum exhibit designer. During the last year, I’ve been experimenting with laser cut Birch Plywood and Red Oak mini landscape sculptures, each of my own design. I make, hand finish and assemble them in my studio here in Winnipeg.
