Bag – Rug Hooked

  • Rug Hooking

This purse was the result of a partnership with by the Women’s Institutes to create craft collections that were loaned to rural communities to help women with learning practical skills. This purse illustrates how rug hooking can be used to make items other than rugs. It is also making use of hand spun and hand dyed wool, rather than the more traditionally used strips of fabric.
