Bag/Sac

  • Beading

Bag made from smoke tanned split moose hide. Beaded with crosses and flowers on front and sides. Strap has scalloped edges. Bag has cotton lining. Designed to hold a prayer book. Made by an unknown maker from a Cree community in Pagwa River, Ontario.

Sac en cuir d’orignal fendu tanné à la fumée. Perlé de croix et de fleurs sur le devant et les côtés. La sangle a des bords festonnés. Le sac est doublé de coton. Conçu pour contenir un livre de prières. Fabriqué dans une collectivité crie de Pagwa River, en Ontario.
