Dress – Woven

This dress was made for 50th Anniversary of Weavers Guild, and was on show at the Manitoba Crafts Council as well as the Newfoundland Craft Council show Another Skin. The dress was made by folding two long rectangles around the body so the fabric appears on the bias. The sleeves come to a point at the wrist. The closure at the back is on the diagonal and features a large plastic glittery button. A matching hat completes the outfit.
