GUIDELINES
Eligibility: Professional artists, crafts people, print artists, and photographers are invited to submit entries for this exhibition. No geographic limits. All entries must be of original design and personal execution.
Media: All media, all visual disciplines. Sculpture, painting, drawing, prints, craft, photography, film/video/projection, made within the previous three years.
Size: No piece may be larger than 10 inches x 10 inches x 10 inches, including frame or case.
Submission Fees: $30 for first two submissions. $10 for each additional artwork. Minimum two submissions required. Submit only one JPEG per artwork.
Jurying and Awards: Our 2014 juror is Vicki Halper, a noted curator of contemporary art of the Pacific Northwest and American crafts. She is co-editor of Morris Graves: Selected Letters and curator of Links: Australian Art and the Pacific Northwest, currently on national tour. Cash prizes are allocated by the juror.
Catalogue: Each accepted entry will be featured in a fully illustrated, handbound, hardcover catalogue of the exhibit. Each accepted artist will receive one copy of the catalogue.
Deadline: Submissions may be submitted through Monday, June 16, 2014. Early submissions are welcome.
Notification date: Friday, June 27, 2014.
Shipping: Accepted works must arrive by 5 PM Wednesday, July 9, 2014. Deliver or ship the work to Tieton and plan to arrange for return shipping. Artists are responsible for all shipping costs, including insurance.
Installation-ready: Each accepted entry must be installation-ready, framed or encased, with appropriate hanging hardware and installation instructions, and clearly labeled with artist’s name and title of the work. Most sculptures will be wall placed on shelves, although some will be displayed on plinths. TA&H retains the right to eliminate pieces from the exhibition at any time, at their discretion. Test your framing/presentation before sending it. At this size, the presentation of your work is as important as the object, and deserves extra care and consideration.
Opening Reception: Saturday, August 9, 2014, 12 – 5 PM.
Receptions during exhibition: Saturday, August 23 during Highland Community Days. Closing reception Saturday, October 11, 2014, 12 – 5 PM.
Duration: Accepted work may not be withdrawn before the close of the exhibition on Saturday, October 11, 2014.
Pick-up: Artwork must be picked up by October 31, 2014. Shipped work will be returned during the two weeks following the close of the exhibition. TA&H assumes no responsibility for artwork left beyond October 31, 2014, nor for work with insufficient return shipping.
Insurance: TA&H will insure the works while on site for the insurance value indicated on the entries.
Photography: TA&H may photograph the work for reproduction in the catalogue, and use images of submitted artwork to publicize and promote the exhibition.
How to Enter: All materials, including entry fees and images, must be submitted in digital format through CaFÉ™ at CallForEntry.org. CaFÉ™ is a non-profit, online, centralized portfolio manager that can be used for many different calls for entries and grant applications.
Artists create an online portfolio, and apply images from it to the 10x10x10xTieton call for entries.

Sales: All sales will be handled through TA&H. A 40% commission will be charged. All pieces must remain up for the duration of the exhibition. Artists will be responsible for shipping sold artwork to the buyer.
