Small is BIG! Tieton Arts & Humanities invites artists from across the globe to submit artwork no larger than 10 inches in any dimension. No media restrictions. Each accepted entry will be featured in a fully illustrated, hand-bound hardcover exhibition catalogue and each exhibited artist will receive one free copy.
Eligibility: Everyone! No geographic limits. All entries must be of original design and personal execution.
Media: All media welcome. Works must be original and made within the previous three years.
Size: No piece may be larger than 10 inches x 10 inches x 10 inches, including frame or case.
Submission Fees: $30 for first two submissions. $10 for each additional artwork. Minimum two submissions required. Submit only one JPEG per artwork.
Jurying and Awards: Our 2015 jurors are Sharon Arnold and Jerry Beck. Sharon Arnold is the co-owner and Director of Roq La Rue Gallery in Seattle, WA. She studied at Pratt Institute in New York and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Cornish College of the Arts, focusing on sculpture, art history, and philosophy. In 2010 she launched Bridge Productions, a publication company focusing on artist catalogues, literary chapbooks, and a quarterly subscription project; and founded LxWxH Gallery located in the Georgetown neighborhood of Seattle before coming on as partner at Roq La Rue in 2014. Jerry Beck is an artist, educator, and community leader. He is the Founder/Artistic Director of The Revolving Museum (TRM) a nomad arts organization that revitalizes underutilized public space with interdisciplinary and collaborative art. Beck has a BFA from Florida State University and an MFA from Tufts University-School of the Museum of Fine Arts. Cash prizes are allocated by the jurors.
