A New Home for CRAFT in Manitoba – Tour the Space & DONATE

The Manitoba Craft Council and the Manitoba Crafts Museum and Library have joined forces to create a new hub for craft in Manitoba. After almost 10 years without a home of our own, the MCC will have a beautiful, permanent place from which to promote and support contemporary craft and its makers in Manitoba – a dream fulfilled!
Located in an historic building at the south end of the Exchange District, the 3,025 sq ft facility will include an exhibition gallery, shop, library, museum and workshop space featuring the best of contemporary and historical craft this province has to offer. The MCC and MCML are now teaming up with craft supporters like you to bring this new space to life.
Giving Tuesday (December 1) will launch our joint fundraising campaign to raise the monies needed for a complete renovation of the space. Set to open in Summer 2016, your generous donation will build walls and floors, buy lighting and doors. More than that, your giving will support and promote the work of craft artists and artisans, collectors and curators, DIYers and material history enthusiasts.
Curious about this new hub for CRAFT?

As part of the Giving Tuesday celebration, we’ll be offering a sneak peak into the new space.
Tuesday, December 1, 5 pm
329 Cumberland Ave
Join us for a quick pre-renovation tour: get your own “before” picture of the space and find out all about our exciting plans. If you’re more comfortable contributing to the space in person with a cheque or cash, this is your chance! A tax receipt will be issued for all donations $10 and over.
If you love craft and the people who make it (and we know you do!) donate to the Manitoba Craft Council on Giving Tuesday.
