PRIMA LINEA – INTERNATIONAL WROUGHT IRON PRIZE

On the occasion of the commemoration of the First World War Centenary have organized a competition called: PRIMA LINEA – International Wrought Iron Prize Second Edition.
REGULATION
PRIMA LINEA – International Wrought Iron Prize is an initiative that wishes to commemorate the Centenary of the First World War. It is a tribute to the art of wrought iron, its artists and the town of Vittorio Veneto as a symbol of this landmark event.
This Prize is an annual event, lasting four years, in reference to the years of the First World War (1915- 1918).

Prima Linea, the second edition of the International Wrought Iron Prize, is a tribute to the art of wrought iron, specifically in reference to the years of the First World War.  The theme for this year is The Wounds and Walls between Mind and Soul, drawing on the events that took place in 1916, when trench warfare began. The theme must not expressly refer to the events that took place in the second year of the war, instead it should be revisited conceptually in the works, with evocative, abstract, symbolic or ironic interpretations. The competition is open to artists from any of the countries involved in the First World War.

This call is valid for the 2016 edition.
The Organizers reserve the right to award other prizes, depending on the quality of the works.

In compliance with the provisions of Italian regulations in Legislative Decree no. 196 of 30 June 2003 and subsequent amendments, personal data provided by the participants or collected for PRIMA LINEA – Premio Internazionale d’Arte Fabbrile shall be processed solely for the purposes of managing the project and then for the procedures relating to the management of the relationship.
