Human Rights Commitment Award of Manitoba 2016

Call for Manitoba based artists to design and create the
Human Rights Commitment Award of Manitoba 2016

The Details:

The Human Rights Commitment Award of Manitoba honours Manitobans (individuals and groups) who courageously contribute to the advancement of human dignity and the elimination of discrimination in this province.   The award is given as part of an event celebrating Human Rights Day on December 10.  Since 2000, the Manitoba Human Rights Commission, the Manitoba Association for Rights and Liberties and the Canadian Human Rights Commission have partnered  to host this event in order to acknowledge the achievements of those who work to advance human rights.  In the last several years, this has been done through the presentation of a work of art.
